Down through the memory lane,
As I oft reminisce,
She flashes through my mind-
Leaving behind-a soulful smile,
With eyes though gleaming,
With tears of joy...
She was a bliss,
And she continues still...,
With that big round eyes,
That goes deep in search
Through the walls of my heart,
To capture my emotions,
Just in one glance...
And there I stand baffled,
Wondering how she could manage
To decode my thoughts,
Even before I spell it out...
So there she comes...,
With that assuring gaze
And hand held tight,
Giving life to the bond of love,
That's so called FRIENDSHIP...
Life hath been wonderful-
To gift me a soul-mate,
Who could make things go crazy
With her charm and humour...
And I still stay puzzled...,
Wondering of my lucky fate
That hath gifted a treasure,
To keep me happy forever...
I am big with fate
To get her as friend,
Yet am selfish at heart-
That makes me pray to God
To keep her alive till I die,
For I need a soul to share-
Every pace of my life...
She is a wonderful gift
And her friendship I treasure...
