Down through the memory lane,

I find you in my every pace,

Since the day we met,
Making every second lively...

Our days  through the woods,

Hath been a lovely memoir,

That I cherish forever,

With tears and a smile...

I feel as though it was a long walk-

Through the trodden road,

With the deep woods around us,

And you next to me...

Rambling through our way,

We spoke out every bit,

Be it sensible or useless,

Yet sharing our likes and dislikes...

I never felt alone,

When you were by my side,

To identify my every emotions,

And understand my silence too...

Now that we have come so far,

From the years gone through,

And I stand still-

For I could look forth...

We are at the verge of parting,

We are in our next pace,

We are to move apart,
We are to diverge...

There would be none,
To be more happy than me,
To hear that sweet surprise,
That you being engaged...

Yet, when i sit alone,
Thinking of you,
I could feel the emptiness,
Sans your presence any further...

We may stay apart,
But the moments we shared,
Will stay fresh with flavors,
That keeps life going...
