PPS Contest entry 2

As your eye gleams
And fluffy hair that ruffles
Sporting a killer look
There, right at my doorstep
With your smiling lips pouting next
Sending kisses in air,
I would love and ardently love
To extend my arms
And pull you close to me
To rest on your chest-
Muscles chiseled aptly being
A cozy bed customized just for me…
But I can’t be yours
And you can’t be mine…
As I’m destined to bloom as sunflower
Whilst the warmth of your rays
Spread upon me bringing cheers
From a distance too far
And never can I wish to have
You, close to me
As the sun burns this flower
And that’s in the destined norms…
I thus wish and just wish that
Some day I’ll carry all my memories to sea,
And hang them up against the wind to dry.
As you romanticize
To hold my hand to slow dance
For the music of our heart
On a random breezy evening…
As you romanticize
To have your favourite dish
No matter how it tastes
But just cooked for you
And fed by me…
As you romanticize
To cuddle me up as a baby
And adore me sleep at peace
As you sing a lullaby…
I would love and just love
To say a YES for all you romanticize
And turn a magic wand
To make your dreams come true
And make it a sweet memory
For just you and me to cherish
And reminisce as we grow…
But I can’t be yours
And you can’t be mine and
I thus wish and just wish that
Some day I’ll carry all my memories to sea,
And hang them up against the wind to dry.
